2.) I don't believe the judge used the words "hogwash"
3.) Is Coyner planning on censuring foreign intelligence sources as well?
4.) President Bush was elected, Judge Robertson was not. Good riddance!

The judge didn't precisely say hogwash but he really did imply that. Read the ruling it was devastating in scope and tone to those who have the urge to have public schools teach religion in science class.
Unless I am mistaken J. Robertson was appointed by Reagan and elevated to FISA by Clinton. He was in fact put into his position because his integrity was obvious and unwavering as FISA judges are theoreticaly all supposed to be. He resigned because the criminal in the oval office broke the law and may well have gotten warrents approved by FISA using illegaly aquired intelligence - thus connecting him by fiat to illegal activities.
Bush was elected and swore to uphold the constitution - not shred it and use it for toilet paper. 5yrs in prison is too kind for the destruction he has caused our democracy. . .

Intelligent Design is a theory, not a scientific one nor religious in that it names no specific diety. It's a philosophical theory and deserves to be taught as such. Evolution is merely a theory as well and that is taught.
Tell that to Thomas Aquinas who theorized that the natural world was a result of an indtelligent designer, and that it was obvious that the intelligent designeer was God. Even the proponents of teaching ID in science classes admit when pressed that they believe the designer is God. In fact no one who is a proponent seriously contends the alternate, that the designer is an intelligent extra terestrial - the only other theory even spoken. It is entirely a religious issue. And calling evolution a theory is like calling virus' a theory. Technicly they both are because they don't understand every aspect of how virus' do what they do, they know they do it but they know they do it. The same is true of evolution, not every gap in knowledge has been filled but they are being filled every year.
Beth is correct that intelligent design is not a scientific theory. Evolution, however, is a scientific theory. That's why evolution should be taught in science class and why intelligent design should not be taught in science class.
